Victory Bay Drug Guide

GHB is a psychoactive drug that stands for gamma-hydroxybutyric acid. In the medical industry, GHB is used as a general anesthetic but recreationally, this drug is often used to increase athletic performance, “enhance” a club or party experience, or as a “date rape” drug.

Used as an intoxicant, GHB affects the central nervous system and acts as a depressant. The drug can easily cause GHB addiction; between 1990 and 2015, 72 deaths and more than 15,600 GHB overdoses were reported.
