Michael, a Philadelphia native, now resides in the South Jersey area where his recovery began. For over ten years he attempted to get clean with different therapies, geographic changes and shear self-will; but none of it worked. Finally, in a treatment facility, he discovered a 12-step fellowship and began the recovery process in earnest, including regular meeting attendance and the regular practice of a spiritual program, which he continues with to this day.
Passionate about helping others find recovery, he hopes that his experience, strength and hope can encourage others to find a new way to live
At Victory Bay, he first began working as a Logistics Manager and found it deeply rewarding. Ambitious, hardworking, and detail-oriented, Michael was promoted to the Medical Assistant position.
Michael enjoys fitness, the outdoors, and hanging with friends and family. Building relationships and creating unity amongst people in recovery keeps him anchored.
