Stasia is a Prescott, Arizona native who is passionate about creating a recovery platform that strongly enhances long-term sobriety. She received her undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University, and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College. Stasia is a professionally trained Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) therapist that enjoys working with various degrees of nervous system dysregulation, addiction, and trauma.
Her skills focus includes modalities such as the 12 Steps, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), grief and loss work, attachment, family of origin, and shame reduction. Stasia enjoys incorporating a high degree of compassion with a philosophy of experientially meeting each client where they’re at in the present moment. With this approach, the client begins to shift their mind set to what is possible regarding personal healing and long-term sobriety begins to take shape.
Stasia has developed the Traction Recovery System which was recently implemented at Victory Bay and is the first such installation on the East Coast. It is an outstanding clinical program with approximately 80% focus on therapeutic treatment and 20% on 12-step recovery.
